This is the last of the 3 Hyundai Thailand IONIQ electric videos I did the sound works for Thai version. Actually I finished this video as the first one from the 3 videos, because it’s the shortest (55 seconds) and has different request from the other two.
I’ve been a fan of Eric Persing and Spectrasonics since the Atmosphere / Trilogy / Stylus era. I used Trilogy and Stylus RMX, but not the Atmosphere. Although I’m not using Omnisphere but it’s an interesting soft-synth which has been around for a decade.
Basically, this video is quite similar to the first one, but it’s 1 minute longer. It shares background music with video#1 but it still needs to be edit to fit and to keep the dynamic throughout this 3-minutes video. Some sound effects is the same as video#1, such as the footsteps at the beginning.
This is the first of 3 videos I worked for the Thai version of Hyundai IONIQ electric. On this video, besides recording the voiceover track, I did all the rest of audio work. Starting from choosing background music and edit it to match the video, then voiceover editing, doing sound design, and did the mixing.
I came across this video on YouTube when I was searching for something related to game audio. I love their passion and energy when they talk about these sound bites.
